Game Drives

On our 3 444 hectare property 21 antelope species, 29 small mammal and reptile species and over 200 bird species are present (checklists available).  During our summer months (October to March) several migrant bird species are found here including the European Bee Eater and the White Stork.

The terrain is covered in Acacia trees, Karoo bush (which gives our lamb its unique taste), various types of Aloes, and grasses such as tall bushman grass, finger grass and Aristida.

Please bring your own binoculars and remember to bring both warm and cool clothing.

3 to 4 hours.  R500 per vehicle.

Prices include light refreshments.

SPECIALITIES seen on Game Drives are : Aardwolf & Springhare on most outings, sometimes Aardvark, Caracal & Genet.

Day Game Drive

This can vary from 3 to 4 hours depending on your choice.

The cost is: R 500 per vehicle (seating six).

Sunset Game Drive

Watch the spectacular Karoo sunset in the open veld while enjoying your sundowner.  Duration approximately 1 to 2 hours.

Cost: R 300 per vehicle.

Night Game Drive

Duration of about 1 to 2 hours.

Cost: R 300 per vehicle.

Wild Cats

Visit our rare wild cat breeding and research centre; early morning and late afternoon best (more info).

R 30 per person (booking essential)
free for overnight guests.

Birdwatching

Excellent birding.  You may see a Secretary bird hunting in the veld.

Unaccompanied: free.  Guided: R50 per person for about 2 hours.

Hiking/Walking

Wander our marvellous countryside.

Unaccompanied: free.  Guided: R50 per person for about 2 hours.

Driving in veld

Use own vehicle to drive in our veld with a guide.

R 200 per entry per vehicle per day.

Bushman Art

We have a number of sites with rock art.

R 20 per person.
